Downtown Los Angeles Couples Shoot / S&D

S&D contacted me back in February and I was really excited and nervous because they were the first couple that I’ve shot that I didn’t know before the shoot! We set the date for June and so I couldn’t wait for the day to come. We brainstormed ideas from the canals in Venice Beach to more urban locations like Downtown LA, ultimately deciding on the latter because they felt it was more them. We met up at Union Station, and later headed to the 500 Days of Summer bench (which has a gorgeous view of Downtown LA). Both were really great locations and suited S&D so well. The images turned out beautifully, and I found myself gravitating toward black and white photos for a classic feel to match the quiet, sweet tone. Can I just say– I LOVE the black and white!!!
