SuperBore (or is it?!)

Oh, Sunday.  Sunday.  Sunday.  Had I added exclamations, that probably would have sounded like a Superbowl ad.  Unfortunately for Bry and me, we’re not much for football, so instead, we spent today cleaning!  Hooray!  I know how that sounds.  Depressing, right?  Boring, right?

NOPE!  Not for me (although, maybe a little for B).  I LOVE cleaning.  Well, okay, not so much the cleaning part per say, but I love organizing.  I love the feeling of looking in the kitchen and knowing exactly where everything is.  I love opening the bathroom cabinet and being greeted by folded and color coordinated towels.  I LOVE having a shelf in the closet where all of my shoes point in the same direction, waiting to be worn.  I am one of those people.

It just feels so satisfying!  I figure if you have to pick things up, wash dishes, or fold clothes, it might as well look as pretty as possible when you put them away.  I like arranging things like you would see them in a store.  Is that weird?  That’s not to say our place is immaculate.  It’s not.  But the times when things do have order?  It’s like I can breathe better.  My mind feels less cluttered, not to mention the floor is less cluttered.

I do feel lucky, though, to have B who will do all of this along with me.  I know most guys can’t stand cleaning.  Don’t get me wrong, he hates it.  But he does it, because he knows it needs to be done.  Bry does have a method though.  He sets up shop in front of the TV, pops on Netflix, and folds laundry to a marathon of Battlestar Galactica.  Hey, whatever works, right?  It gets the job done!

On one of our breaks from the chores, we decided to venture outside.  The sun was setting brilliantly, and I was so happy to capture these photos of my favorite B:

B in a laundered shirt.  Very handsome, not to mention spring fresh.

Love, LOVE that light.

He’s my AmbercromB model.  Heh heh.

Look at that smile!  I love that he smiles like that at me.

The totem pole below was a neat find that we hadn’t noticed before.

With the new site, I thought I’d also take the opportunity to change up how I watermark my images.  I took a page from the C & C book and I think the images look much cleaner this way.  Also, look!  Chris and Cindi have a new splash!  They’ve been beating up the pavement (my combo of Jersey Shore and pounding the pavement?) with all the shooting they’ve been doing so check them out!

Happy Sunday!

cindi - LOVE the new watermark!! :) Very clean indeed…and appropriate for your post. Ahh..Bry is your perfect model. He’s just so photogenic!!! :) Love your shoot and that light is nice and buttery. In your words…I DIE!

jocson - LOVE LOVE LOVE! Did we mention LOVE?! Killin’ it Ms. Martin.

Also, digging the new watermark. Am I a nerd for noticing that when we collab in the future, our marks will fit nicely on a photo, like yin and yang? Or voltron…

Janie - How come I don’t remember Bryan EVER folding clothes? I had no idea he even knew how it was done! But I am grateful that you are clearly a big success where I was an obvious failure.

Mom

ken - Props! Those are some good pictures Ami. I think Bryan beat me at “the look” Great job to you both

admin - Cindi- Thank you!! Your guys’s logo was totally my inspiration. Bry is def my favorite model, and poses for me even though he hates it! hahaha I have to credit Ms. Rachel Zoe for her famous words, though! :)

Jocson- You are too kind. The ying and yang? Totes on purpose! You know it!

Janie- I can’t take the credit, I thank my lucky BattleSTARS! Pun intended! haha I can’t figure out who’s the bigger nerd, me or Bry.

Ken- Thanks! You know you got copyright on “the look”, you’ll just have to battle Bry for it!
